Step 4: Count the Cost.

Unfortunate, but all too true, just like getting any other education, helicopter flight training can be expensive. Commercial training allows a student to spend as little as a year getting certification, at about the same price as a college degree. Download our catalog for a list of FAA requirements and estimated costs.

We work in cooperation with the following financing programs:

PILOT FINANCE: Pilot Finance, Inc. offers a variety of programs to help finance flight training. Since all they do is finance flight school students, they are well aware of the industry and well equipped to find a program that works for you. For more information, or to apply online, visit: Pilotfinance.com.

UTAH VALLEY STATE COLLEGE GLOBAL AVIATION PROGRAM: This is a program by which aviation students can qualify for regular student loans and grants, in addition to receiving a degree at the end of the program. Students are required to take on-line college courses while attending Rotors for their flight training. More information on UVSC's program can be found on their website, USVCaviation.com or by downloading our printable information flyer. (264 KB pdf.)
